The Mission Steward was created with one goal in mind: to help small nonprofits thrive behind the scenes. After nearly a decade of leading a small cultural nonprofit—without a full team or a clear roadmap—our founder, Tamara Herring, saw firsthand the toll it takes when passionate people are stretched too thin. 

Too often, nonprofit leaders and staff are left trying to “figure it out” while still doing the real work of community impact.
